The New Jersey Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation, and Mitigation (RREM) Program is a federally-funded $600 Million program that provides funding of up to $150,000 for eligible homeowners to rebuild their homes that were damaged during Superstorm Sandy.
The first round of applications was submitted during Summer 2013 and there are currently 3,000 approved homeowners throughout New Jersey, with several thousand more on the waiting list.
During Summer 2014, the grant money finally started trickling down to homeowners so they can begin the house lifting and rebuilding process.
Homeowners who have been approved for RREM funding are no longer required to hire a contractor who is on the state-approved list. You are now free to hire any house lifting or rebuilding contractor as long as they are licensed in New Jersey.
Complete Construction & Remodeling has already helped dozens of New Jersey homeowners through the RREM Program process of obtaining their financing and starting the rebuilding process. We are locally based in Point Pleasant, in Ocean County, and have a team of specialists available to help guide you through each step of the process.
